NTC Global was established early in 2004 with the vision to cost-effectively deliver corporate-grade information and communication technology (ICT) systems to the Small and Medium Business (SMB) market.
One of the companies' primary objectives was to provide a level of competence and professionalism that was lacking in the SMB space - whilst still maintaining personal contact and understanding of the client's needs, something which is lost when dealing with a corporate service provider.
NTC Global has grown substantially over the past few years, moving twice to larger premises and growing its staff complement five-fold. Our supplier network and product range have expanded to meet the diverse needs of our clients, which range from small home businesses to medium-sized companies located throughout the Western Cape.
Our Senior IT Consultant and Executive Director studied Mechanical Engineering at Stellenbosch University, graduating in 1997. He ventured into the ICT space during his studies, when he developed a software program for a company in Johannesburg, South Africa, which is still being used commercially today to design cable reeling systems for multi-million Rand projects in South African ports. After graduation he worked as a network administrator and database developer at Shofar Christian Church, a medium-sized organisation in Stellenbosch, South Africa. From 2001 until 2004 he worked as a Software Development Engineer at the EMEA headquarters of Microsoft Corporation in Dublin, Ireland. There he developed and deployed software tools and web sites and developed processes that were used by the Office Group to manage localisation projects. He was involved in the planning, deployment and support of Windows® 2000 Server and Windows® Server 2003 installations hosting applications and web sites powered by IIS and SQL Server 2000. He also provided development support to the Irish Local Government Services Board in the deployment of XML-based forms solutions. In 2004 he returned permanently to South Africa and established NTC Global.
Today NTC Global employs a team of qualified and experienced engineers and technicians to deliver best-in-class ICT support services to you, our customers.
